  6. HELPER.EXE consists of a WinWord document template that simplifies the
  7. drudgery involved in making Windows Help files. With this document template
  8. can edit, compile, test and modify your help files; run your favorite screen
  9. capture utility; run SHED.EXE and manage your project files - all within
  10. the WinWord environment!

  12. HELPER.EXE is a Shareware product that picks up where MAKHLP.EXE left off.
  13. MAKHLP.EXE is a public domain version which was downloaded over 600 times in
  14. the first two weeks of its release! HELPER.EXE's template macros run faster,
  15. make better use of the File I/O system than the public domain version. The 
  16. help file has been expanded to include more examples, more detailed explana-
  17. tions of how to make help, and includes several sections left out of the
  18. public domain product.

  20. Of special interest will the automatic processing of unresolved Context 
  21. Strings. The template automatically keeps track of all your context strings
  22. and, when you are ready, creates new topics and pages for every context 
  23. string in your help file, complete with correct footnote character notation!
